i think the initial question was will 19 inch rims with 255 series tires fit on the t type, the answer is yes they will fit but yes they will rub likle a mofo, to be safe with rubbing dont go larget than a 18 inch wheel, remember the suspension will travel some and with 19 on hard turns you will eat them up,

Hey "OneGreedy" I now have the 19" rims with the 255/35/19 tires on it, and had them on it for about 5-6 months now. The only rub I get is from the rear and thats bcz the suspension is worn. Other than that, they are perfect!!!

hey SST-TYPE, do you have any pictures with the 19s on your T? I've never seen any T with rims larger than 17s, other than photoshoped pictures. If you cant post them, send them to goss0043@algonquincollege.com thanks

The car sits at Factory Height. Meaning the 19" rims and tires are the same hieght as the factory aluminum wheels and tires. I dont experience :o ANY :o body roll! :D

Thanks for the pics. I remeber seeing your car, and i was actually the one that photoshopped it. Guess i forgot it was your car and it had 19s on it. Well i'm sure i said it before but that looks bad ***. just need a real good buffin, and maybe some touch ups. if you were to lower it an inch or two, you think youd experience tire rub??

Yes...! I get a lil rub from the rear, bcz her *** is sagging a lil, the shocks are factory and really worn...! When i upgrade the suspension, then they wont, but i know it would rub... and it would cut the steering in turning quite a bit too, plus the roads are horrible, dont want sparks, lol! I like here at this height. I dont have any issues with thwe parking bar tearing and ripping the front valence...

For the road racer look, I had 235/60 15" on front and 245/60 15" on the rear, looked and handled great, no rubbing and the fronts were the same diameter as the stock tires (or very close).
