buyer/seller feedback

Post by Lo Type » Wed Dec 12, 2007 4:46 pm

This was suggested awhile ago and I think its time we had this.

This will be a thread to post your feedback regarding buying or selling to or from other board members. This will NOT be a thread to vent or trash members regardless of how a sale went. (those posts will be deleted)

Please post only if you would or would not buy again or if funds exchanged in a timely manner. Maybe rating it from 1-5, 5 being great.

Score- Who - Short Feedback.

5- Donny Lowrida - Definitely a Great person to buy from. a shear PLEASURE to deal with A+

1 - steveX - Very poor communication, I sent money but never he sent the part, and I just ended up having to make some calls to the right people and got my money back through PayPal.

Ive dealt with Dave G, Tony T, Alibi and Gsxmen all of whom deserve 5s and were a pleasure to do buisness with. I also had the pleasure of meeting Tony T which just reinforced how nice every one on this board is.

Ive bought from DonnyLowrida, Tony T Man, BuickNEWF, 88TFL , 2Seater and Paul.

Lowrida actually searched out an item for me.
Tony was very generous.
BuickNEWF offered a price reduction on the next item.
88TFL was very understanding and patient.
2Seater was informative.
Paul was generous and sold me what I had sold him for a reduced price.

Id buy from any of them again.
You are yourself when no-one is looking.

I've bought a handful of parts here on the board:

87 PA TC (Blake) - I bought a bunch of parts from him and he was very reasonable on prices and did a good job of packing everything so that it survived the long trek from Canada

JRS3800 - I didn't really buy anything from him, but I gave him a set of Bonneville mirrors that I had laying around and he sent me some goodies back. No problems, great guy :D

LoType - Bought some seat belts from his black parts car. Very reasonable on prices and no problems dealing with him :)

88T-FL (Peter)- Sold him a dashboard for his LGN... I was really slow getting it to him but he was understanding about it. I gave him a really good deal on it (come on, who wouldn't considering how much he's poster here plus it was going into a freakin' LGN!) and he sent me a little goodie back, so he's great to deal with.

Tricked-T - right now I'm dealing with getting another LeSabre from him and so far we've had good communication back and forth trying to get everything set up. Granted the deal hasn't gone through 100% yet, but he's got a bunch more stuff to sell here shortly so I might as well give him a good plug :P

GSXMEN - as many of you know, hes great to deal with too. I bought a transmission from him as well as some trim bits and had it shipped all the way to Missouri from New York. Took a little longer than I had hoped, but thats only because the ball joint on his truck went out... I'm planning on buying some more stuff from him in the next couple of months and I'm sure there won't be any problems, as always 8-)

SharkBite (edited from dirtracer, got 'em mixed up)- Sold him my old Flowmaster muffler for about what I had in it (not much). He decided against a couple other things I had, but no big deal and overall went smoothly with no problems.

Squeak - He posted a bunch of stuff up a while back, I told him what I wanted, he shot me a price back but then never responded after that. I think he did that to a lot of people so that was irritating. Haven't seen him around on the boards since though.

Um... I think thats everyone I've bought stuff from, but if I misssed anyone no hard feelings :P Overall, most of the people on the board are trustworthy enough to follow through on their end of the bargain. All I can say is to just be sure you know what you're getting and that pictures are quite often your best friend.

Bought parts off:
Lo Type - 5 - Great communication, bought GN seats, and a fender, actually met him, very nice guy to deal with.

Sold parts to:
Alibi - 5 - Great communication, offers all the information he can regarding anything. Flawless transaction.
bc buick - 5 - Great com, had a mix up with delivery, they couldnt find his address, contacted him, all was taken care of within a day.
SST-TYPE - 5 - Good com, I sent him the wrong item, had two small boxes the size of a juice box. he sent it back, all was cleared up.
oh and sold to Lo Type as well, his score is a no brainer.

This thread is good to see just how many transactions between members there is! 18 for T for providing us with this site allowing us to find eachother!
