Re: HELP... has anyone taken a tilt column apart?

Is it loose from the dash board? There is a couple of bolts that mount the column to the lower IP. It should have a solid shaft from the knuckle outside the car to the joint that tilts. Hope this helps some, but don't realty understand the problem. John

Re: Saga of a Replacement LeSabre T-type

Very interesting, the chase is part of the fun, it looks decent, yes I see the work needed but if the body is good it may be worth the time and effort. We live in Michigan and the salt eat up our 1 st 88 T-type. Our 2 nd one came from Arkansas, Yes the dash cover needed to be replaced and the rear s...

painting a rear spoiler

I need some input from anyone that has painted a rear spoiler. I spent hours and a lot of sand paper sanding a spoiler down to the rubber base. It looked good no crack lines. I primed it with a flex primer, still looked good, wet sanded it looked and felt great. Sprayed one light coat of paint and c...

Re: Want to buy hood emblem

Yes some appear on e-bay. There was a key trunk emblem on e-bay not long ago, however it was not trimmed in black, it had a chrome finish around the edge. Buick used the same type hood emblem on a model ( I think PA) that has a chrome finish around the edge. Weather than can be painted and last I 'm...
